Joanne Fisher, IVC Omaha Regional Director
We gather to share our experiences, deepen our spirituality and see Christ more clearly as we journey with those in need. We pray in the Ignatian tradition, which calls us to see God in all things. We meet once a month to pray together, reflect together, and grow in our faith community.
At the heart of the IVC program is a reflection process that is both spiritual and analytical. It guides Ignatian Service Corps Members in the ongoing search for the presence of the living God. Time devoted to individual and group reflection is a central element of IVC.
Monthly Spiritual Gatherings
- January — Day of Reflection/Retreat
- May — Day of Reflection/Retreat
- August – Information Session/Potluck gathering
Days of Reflection offer our volunteers a longer day of retreat style prayer and reflection. They often mass, lunch and a program facilitated by a guest retreat director.
