Expressions of the Soul – An IVC Milwaukee Event

Deeply rooted in our IVC way of proceeding is the power of partnership. When we join with partner agencies that are doing the challenging work of serving people on the margins, we become partners in service sharing mission, purpose and community. We become companions and friends.

The partnership between Dismas Prison Ministry and IVC Milwaukee has been deeply gratifying. Dismas Ministry provides incarcerated persons in 50 states across America with free bibles, faith-based study courses, prayer resources and more to support their relationship with God and the Church. IVC Service Corps members serve at Dismas opening mail, responding to requests from prisoners and prison chaplains, and providing operations management for orders and inventory of resources. Together we work to bring hope, a sense of belonging and connection in faith to men and women behind the walls.

Coming soon, we will showcase the power of the Dismas Ministry/IVC Milwaukee partnership in a truly special event:

Expressions of the Soul

A showcase of art created by incarcerated men and women.

This unique event will feature powerful and thought-provoking artwork created by artists who are incarcerated. The pieces explore themes of freedom, confinement, resilience, and self-expression, giving a voice to those often unheard and unseen.
