Creating A Spirituality of Community Renewal

IVC Milwaukee Presents: “But Who Is My Neighbor? Creating a Spirituality of Community Renewal”

Thursday, March 25, 11:00 am -12:30 pm, Central Daylight Time.

This past year of pandemic restrictions and a contentious election season have left many of us exhausted, feeling disconnected from those we love and from our neighbors.

Lent offers us an opportunity to recall ways in which God invites us to build loving communities and relationships, rooted in a generosity of spirit. Dr. Muldoon will share with us insights and work from his upcoming book about community renewal, focusing on Lent as a period to reorient our lives towards God’s call to be neighbors.

Participants in this interactive workshop will have time to reflect with others on the specific challenges and opportunities that exist within their local communities.

Registration and attendance is complimentary; free-will donations are welcome and appreciated by all the men and women making a difference in Milwaukee.

Tim Muldoon is currently a professor at Boston College and the author of several books on Ignatian spirituality, including The Ignatian Workout, Living Against the Grain, and Longing to Love.
