The “hands and hearts” of IVC’s volunteers are evident in a wide range of ministries throughout our nation’s capital and the surrounding Maryland counties.  Among those we support are: people who are developmentally and intellectually challenged, immigrants and refugees, children needing education and support services, the elderly, those needing food assistance, victims of domestic abuse, adults in need of day care and assisted living services, prisoners and ex-offenders re-entering society, the dying, and the homeless.
