Richard G. Malloy, S.J., is Director of Mission and Ministry at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Baltimore, Md., and the author of Being on Fire: Top Ten Essentials of Catholic Faith and Spiritual Direction: A Beginner’s Guide. Previously, Rick lived and worked as a member of the Jesuit Urban Service team at Holy Name Parish in Camden, NJ (1988-2003). While in Camden, he also served in various positions at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. At the University of Scranton he was the University Chaplain (and lived in a freshman dorm- anthropological fieldwork!) and taught courses in Anthropology, Sociology and Theology.

Rev. Jill L. Snodgrass, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Pastoral Counseling at Loyola University Maryland. She is a pastoral and practical theologian, a scholar-activist, and an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ. Her research interests include spiritual care and counseling with traditionally marginalized populations, with specific emphasis on individuals and families experiencing homelessness and women leaving prison. In addition to her work as a researcher and minister, Dr. Snodgrass has served as a pastoral counselor in churches, shelters, transitional housing facilities, and community centers.
