Ignatian Volunteers serve the Omaha community with open hands and humble hearts.  IVC Volunteers donate one or two days each week for a 10-month period—September to June.  They serve as tutors, instructors, housing advocates, marketing advisers and childcare educators.jerry
IVC partners with local agencies and organizations who are already serving the poor, helping the marginalized or educating the disadvantaged.   This year we will log over 6000 hours of service and reach hundreds of people as we work with agencies such as Habitat for Humanity, Literacy Center, Holy Name School, Ted E. Bear Hollow, Nebraska Children’s Home Society and Heart Ministry Center to name a few.
The Ignatian Volunteer Corps is positively received in Omaha.  Many of our partner organizations tell us of their need for individuals with professional know-how and life experience.  Take a look at our current volunteer opportunities!
