A Message from Mary McGinnity, Executive Director

Dear Friends,

The thrill of hope.

As volunteer, as benefactor, as supporter both temporal and spiritual, YOU bring the thrill of hope to IVC and to the communities we serve.

Your participation in the life of IVC makes it possible for us to recruit and support skilled volunteers. Those volunteers provide dedicated, staff-level service to hundreds of local organizations that assist families, children, and individuals who struggle in a myriad of ways — whether they need extra help to read, a second chance at holding down a good job, a little more food on the table, or a little company to keep loneliness at bay.

Your participation strengthens the Ignatian-based spiritual programming through which IVC volunteers find the community, energy, love and support that sustain them in their service. That’s why the men and women of the Corps stay in service with IVC longer.

I am particularly thrilled to shared with you news of IVC’s planned expansion into five new cities. These groups form organically on their own, driven by their own desire to serve people in need. This is hope. This is because of YOU.

IVC reflects the healing face of Christ.  IVC brings light into the brokenness. IVC is the thrill of hope — and a weary world rejoices!

May God bless you and those you cherish always.

With warmest Christmas wishes,

Mary
